Trading Financial News Releases
I want to start this article with a piece of advice and a warning.
You may have seen advertised, trading systems that offer
you the chance to trade for only a few minutes a day and
you will make a fortune, sounds good doesn't it ?
On closer examination of these systems I believe they should
be issued with a severe wealth warning on them!!
The reason ? More often than not they try to teach you to
attempt trading at one of the most volatile times of day,
ie just before the announcement of major financial news.
You may as well play roulette with your trading account.
Black or Red, which will it be today ? You might get lucky
and pick the correct direction , but what about next time when
you arent so lucky?
The major drawback with this methodology is that it is very
difficult to get your orders filled by your broker when the
news is released , due to the immense quantity of orders
being traded in that period. The bottom line is that your
"Get me out" order is ignored in the rush and you face a much
larger loss than you expected. Even if you have wisely placed
a stop close to the original market price , There is no
Guarantee that your broker will honour it!!!
If you examine the small print of most online brokers they all
seem to have a clause which precludes this promise "in times
of exceptional activity" ie when the NON FARM PAYROLL news has
just been released.

does not recommend trading the news at all until you have
a lot of experience under your belt as a Forex trader.
For those with deep pockets and an iron constitution here
is a brief description of a potential way to trade the News but
with very limited risk.
First of all go with the consensus. Normally before the news
is released there are a few news feeds that try to predict
the outcome, so use this and decide if you are going long
or short.Normally the concensus is correct about 65% of the time.
Secondly, enter your trade with one minute to go before the scheduled
time of the news release, in the direction you think it will go.
Place a stop 10 pips back and a limit order to take 20- 25 pips profit.
If you are right 50% of the time , you will end up being a winner
as each winner is 15 pips bigger than the losers.
I must admit I have tried this method a few times with my demo account
and have made both spectacular profits as well as a couple of big losses
I think you must have real faith in your brokers ability to fill your
orders before you risk real money on this strategy.

I tried it and I was absolutely surprised – why – because normally that's the point where the „automated guys" will fight your Inbox with Spam via an auto responder system. For those who don't know, what it is – be careful to whom you give where your Email address – otherwise your Inbox is over flooding within hours with automated pre-written and designed Emails that are automatically send by a system (the auto responder).
 
I found the book „Breakthrough Money-Making Secrets Revealed!" while I was searching the Internet for information about the RichJerk. This is a guy who makes a lot of cash online by all sorts of methods that I may review in another article. He sells an e-book for 49,95$ and here is, where it becomes interesting – Holly Mann offers the same and even more deeper information on money making secrets for only 19,97$
 
Holly sells her book on her "Thank You Rick Jerk" website and it contents tactics and money making secrets that are 1.) Not unethical 2.) a lot more practicable then anything I've seen before (and believe me, I've seen a lot!) and last but not least 3.) it is the cheapest but best investment I have ever made!
 
Why was I amazed? I bought the e-book last night and I was absolutely astonished by its content. I received the book immediately after paying and I read the book on one Step. I'm not a big reader at all but I need to tell you - this is almost the best resource I have ever looked at. Such a well script, so smart, so simple and without complex contents - it's straight to the point and meets all her promises and points she makes on her website! I really enjoyed reading it!!!

eBay Millionaire Reveals His Secrets To Derek Gehl - A Review
"The Insiders Secrets of an eBay Millionaire" is a complete study of the techniques to make a reasonable living on eBay. Derek Gehl and Brandon Dupsky have teamed up to develop a detailed system on how to navigate eBay, find the right products, enjoy profitable online auctions and strive to become a Power Seller. Every tip and trick that Brandon has used on eBay to generate his 8 million dollars in sales last year, were apparently told to Derek Gehl.
The only part that was difficult for me is the time it took to study and digest the material included. There is so much information you will probably have to return to the books until they become second nature. The author's claim that you will be up and running on eBay in 24 hours, is a little ambitious. Take your time and really let the information sink in.
The following background was supplied by the authors: "You may have heard of Derek Gehl CEO of The Internet Marketing Center, a company with over 40 million dollars in internet sales. Brandon Dupsky on the other hand tends to fly under the radar. He is a regular guy from Nebraska that started selling a few odds and ends from his garage. Brandon then turned the internet business into one with sales last year of 8 million dollars. Derek convinced Brandon to reveal his secrets on how to become an eBay entrepreneur".
Their study is full of details that anyone interested in eBay auctions as a hobby or a home business should try. It demonstrated to me how you can start from nothing and move forward into a profitable eBay business. I spent years learning what works and what doesn't work for me on eBay. The authors have drastically reduced the time it will take you to become an eBay success.
The course materials are considerable. Their base is a 237 page manual and 4 audio-CD's, all filled with tips on building an eBay business from scratch. Each audio-CD has a read along transcript with margin notes. These notes are excellent since they highlight the most important topics that were addressed on each page. There are also 4 bonus CD-ROMs with instructions on more advanced eBay buying selling techniques. The CD-ROMs answered my questions about how to attract more bids on my products, how to create better listings that brought more bidders to my auctions, and how to set up a simple payment and shipping system. These steps are very important in establishing yourself on eBay. If you already have an internet business like I do, the authors have some good ideas on how to tap into some of the 2,000,000 visitors who come to eBay daily.
"The Insiders Secrets of an eBay Millionaire" delivered on its pledge to me and will teach you the fundamentals needed in order to grow into an eBay authority. It logically takes you through the steps, from finding a product to completing an auction. This package will be something that you refer to time after time and I suggest you take notes as you go along.
If anything, you may have to read all of the material again before you will be able to absorb all of the information about eBay auctions. The authors go into a lot of detail and I was pleased with what they revealed to me, a successful eBay Power Seller.
In Derek's Gehl's introduction, he tells you that you can't afford not to have this information and I agree with him. For me, this was a good source to learn more about eBay and I am making the most of it.
Some people have asked me if there was some way to improve on this product and I can honestly say not much. I was pleased about the information that I learned from the authors because I have been selling on eBay since 1999.
The only unanswered question I have is how Brandon Dupsky manages his various weekly auctions. I would have preferred an in-depth study on how he accomplishes this very involved task.
If you are interested in growing an eBay business, this is a comprehensive course that will be very helpful. I give it a high rating.
